NYCC 2012- Celebs, Babes, & Hello Kitty!

As always, there were tons of celebs and hotties at NYCC. I've already posted my interviews with Vampy Bit Me, Adrianne Curry, and Tera Patrick and my coverage of The Collection panel, but those weren't the only ones I saw/ met those four days. Here are the rest:

On Thursday Alan (Negative Pop) and I finally met Chris Hardwick! Last year, we couldn't find him on any of the four days! This time we saw on the first! I think the fact that he had his own booth (Nerdist) made it much easier for us. We told him about it. He's a really cool guy in person! We're so happy to have caught him!

On Friday, I met Playboy Playmate Colleen Marie. She's all natural and very cool in person. She also beautiful! I'm not a fan of the typical Playmate, which is why liked this babe so much.
Also, on that day I met the beautiful Alexandra Daddario. She starred in the awesome Malevolence prequel, Bereavement, among other films. She was there to promote the upcoming Texas Chainsaw 3D (no the word "Massacre" is not in the title...) movie, which is said to be a sequel to the original and not the remake series. She signed for free including a nice poster from that upcoming flick (it'll be out in Jan). She was also very sweet and stunning in person!! I was very happy to have met her!

Here are some other stunning beauties:
One of the greatest booths in the history of booths!
This gorgeous babe is from the Iron Sky booth.
I declare my love to this babe! :P
She was there last year as well. Gorgeous!

True story: This was from Thurs, and the guy working the booth was pissed I took a pic with it, even though Kelly Kelly wasn't there and wouldn't be there till the next day! I ain't a fan of hers really had no desire to meet her. That said, she does look beautiful in person. But, this pic is hilarious. I doubt meeting her would have been as funny or as "law-breaking"!
Is it me, or this does this New-Gen babe look like porn star Alexis Ford's younger sister?

Finally, this might be the coolest/ most hilarious thing I saw all week. Sanrio and Capcom are collaborating on  some tees! I wish it was a game, but alas, whatcha gonna do? Regardless, Chun-Li Hello Kitty rules! And, I gave her a kiss!

Chiller Theatre April 2012

Another Chiller has passed us by. But, what a time it was! While, I may not have gone up to as many celebs as I have in the past, I can tell you that I had the most fun, I ever have! And, I have been going to this event for years!

My friend Alan picked up Baldwin and I early in the morning. Then we met up with Pat. And, a little later I met up with Kristie, Kristin P., Mike, and Erika. This meant that at this Chiller, I had myself an entourage of the most awesome friends and fellow fans, ever!

The first celeb I went up to was the lovely Melina, former WWE women's champion. She was sitting there with the very sweet and beautiful Rosita of TNA. Rosita wasn't signing sadly, as she was just sitting in with her friend. Regardless, they both talked up a storm with Erika and me and were sweethearts. The internet loves to talk to talk shit, but I am here to say that Melina is so sweet and nice, in person. Both of them were.

The first celeb I actually payed to meet was Lilian Gracia, who has sung the National Anthem at WWE events and was/ sometimes still is a ring-announcer for them. She was also very sweet and friendly and happy to talk to us. We got a Polaroid with her.

The only other celeb I met was Maryam D'Abo who was one of my fav Bond girls growing up. She signed my DVD of The Living Daylights, which is easily my fav Timothy Dalton Bond film. She said she had never seen this release, in particular. I told her it was an older rerelease, 2007 to be precise, and that I had gotten it as a birthday gift.

Between the fun we had lunch, hung around the con, and bought lots of cool shit. I got myself a stunning Suspiria t-shirt from a guy who was selling his art. I have seen his art in Horrorhound and Rue Morgue magazines. Amazing! I also bought myself, a Blue Velvet tee. I saw that shirt at a horror tee site and wanted it as soon as I saw it. When, I spotted it towards the end of the con itself, when Kristin D. got herself a sweet Misfits tee, I had to buy it. It took them a while to find my size, but they eventually did. Rejoice!! I also got blu-rays of Zombie, Intruder, Thou Shalt Not Kill... Except!, and Frankenhooker.

Finally the party came and we partied harder than anyone!! I mean we had a fucking blast!!!! And, of course the Dead Elvi kicked fucking ass.  At one point Bebe Buell joined them onstage. She has a great voice!!

In all, I had such a fucking blast that this one will go down in history. Cause, hanging with your closet and best friends at one of the best cons in the world is gonna always mean total and complete epicness!! Here's to the next one!!!

NYCC 2011: Day 1

Make no bones about it, New York Comic Con (NYCC) is THE biggest convention on the Eastcoast. And, after years of not going, I, the Master, returned with a vengeance. Extended to four days, instead of the regular three and with a ton of guests, panels, and exclusive toys, this promised to be THE biggest one yet.

The very first day was on Oct. 13, 2011, a Thursday. This day was open only to pros, press, and those who bought a four day ticket. So, it was nice an quiet and a great day to walk around the Jacob Javits Center (where the con is held). It started at 4PM, and I, along with my friend Alan, got there about that time.

First and foremost, as soon as you walk you in are reminded just how big this convention is. There are so many rooms and three floors that are used, so it is very easy to get lost. We certainly did. We even lost certain tables. It's insanity!

The first booth I visited was Hasbro. They had an amazing display of some of their Marvel comics figures. It was really an amazing looking set-up.
Here a quikee vid I shot of it.

I also took the chance to pick up the exclusive Compound Hulk figure. He appeared in issue #30, when they were both joined as one. I admit I ain't read a Hulk comic in ages, but even if this whole thing is silly I loved the figure. I had to own it, moreso at a mere 11 bucks. Here it is with some other figures (including an exclusive Deadpool Mini-Mates) I got over the course of the next fews days.

I also had the chance to become an official Avengers action figure! Well, OK not really, but I think this pic, taken by Alan, aka NegativePop, is pretty cool. What do you think my assecories would be, if I was a real action figure?

Also, at Hasbro was a cutie who worked for them cosplaying as Jem. For those who may not know Jem was a cartoon based on a girl's doll about a pop singer named Jem and her band the Holograms. I admit to watching that show. You know you did, too! Don't deny it!

Next up was a visit to Mattel, where I there were awesome displays for WWE, DC, and Master of the Universe action figures.
Evil-Lyn has long been one of my fav MOTU characters.

Shadow Weaver finally gets a figure!!!

The Alberto Del Rio figure kicks ass! Gotta love the chihuahua!

There are beauties all over the show. Some of them are working at booths, like this stunning lady. She worked at the Vixens of Virtue, Vixens of Vice booth. She didn't reveal on which side her character will be, but one cool thing she told me is that she is a fellow writer. I actually got a bunch of pics of her, so look for future installments, of this series of posts, for more of her!

I did a little wondering here and there and saw more cool things. Due to the relaxed feeling this was easily my second favorite day of the whole event. But the REAL craziness was yet, to come...

Dr. Satan Lives!!!

All pictures were taken and designed by Alan Camuto.

Dr. Satan has been a long time staple in the Chiller Theatre Expo. For the last couple of years he has been haunting the eastcoast biggest and best horror convention.

Inspired by the character of the same name from Rob Zombie's cult favorite House of 1000 Coprses, long time horror fan and metalhead, Pat Keenan, decided to dress up as him at Chiller. When, he saw how successful it was, he decided to stick with it.

It has become part of Chiller tradition to see him haunt the hallways of the convention. Where ever he goes he always draws a lot of attention. Believe me, I've hung and followed the guy around. Everyone wants to get a picture with him. Even celebrities want pics him. Beautiful female celebs, at that, some of whom will charge others for pics with. They will go up to him ask him to take a picture with them! He is, thus, a celeb, in his own right. At the right you will see a great example of this, as the lovely Tara (formerly Victoria of WWE) of TNA got a picture with him.

Whats most awesome about him, is not just how good the costume and mask are, but how he stays in character. He remains quite and menacing, throughout. He won't even say a word for a pretty girl! That's pretty impressive and shows some great dedication to the role and character.

I, myself, am quite the fan of seeing Dr. Satan roam around Chiller. And, I don't just say this as the guy's friend. Even, if I didn't know the man behind the mask I would still be a fan. After all, I really love Zombie's movie and the character, and he more than does him justice. He IS Dr. Satan!

DR. SATAN! DR. SATAN! DR. SATAN! DR. SATAN! DR. SATAN!

Damage

Title: Damage
Director: Jeff King
Writer: Frank Hannah
Cast: Steve Austin, Walton Goggins, Laura Vandervoort, Donnelly Rhodes, Lynda Boyd
Year: 2009
Min: 102

After serving four out of the seven years that John Brickner (Steve Austin) received for second-degree manslaughter, he ends up working as a construction worker, at day and bar bouncer at night. One day after work he meets up with Veronica Reynolds (Lynda Boyd), the widow of the man he killed. It turns out she petitioned for his releases after all the letters he wrote to her asking for her forgiveness. She tells him that her daughter Sarah, of eight years of age, needs a $250,000 heart transplant. He at first rejects the offer to do underground fighting for fight promoter Reno Paulsaint (Walton Goggins), but then he loses his job (but not before saving a man). He decides to do it, after getting help for finding him via his beautiful assistant and companion Frankie (V's Laura Vandervoort, here a brunette). Brickner begins to whoop some major ass, but Reno has some debts of his own.

I have to say that I was very surprised with how good this movie is. Usually movies starring pro-wrestlers are awful, even worse if they are direct-to-video, like this was. But, despite not being very original, it's a very entertaining and engaging film.

A big part of the appeal comes from the cast, which is quite good. I am a long time of Austin, as he was one of my favorites in the WWF/E. But, I was expecting him to be that good in this film. But, he really is. He comes off as a believable working class hero. He manages to kick some serious ass, but also manages to add some heart to his portrayal of his character. The rest of the cast is good, too. Vandervoort looks even more beautiful as a brunette and really gets to show off her acting chops. The characters are likable, with Reno having a good character arc.

Director King manages to keep the pace moving nicely. The fight scenes are bloody and brutal, and are well off-set by some actually heartfelt moments. I do think the ending wraps up everything to nicely and perfectly, though.

In all, this is a good surprise. If you are a fan of action films or even a good drama, you will definitely enjoy this one. If you are a fellow Austin fan it's a must see.

Random Hotness XII: Hotness, Sweet Hotness

It's been roughly a year since I did one of these, but I know my long time readers love them. And, my readers who have never seen me post one of these are sure to enjoy them, too.

Liz Hurley- It's recently been revealed that the breath-taking Ms. Hurley will play the Wonder Woman villain Veronica Cale in the new TV series. The show will have some chick named Adrianne Palicki play the title heroine. The series sounds like it will be crap. But, I do heart Hurley. I first remember her from Passenger 57 where she played a plane hijacking terrorist. While, that movie is certainly not good; she looked REALLY good, in it. She can hold me hostage any time she wants to. She has an absolutely amazing rack, that my pants simply cannot get enough of. Truth be told, it will be hard to cheer for the heroine in this one. Score one for the bad girls of TV land!Tia Ling- I have professed my love for this Korean goddess before here. She even made it to number eight in my Top 70 Hottest Babes of 2010 and is a former Hot Asian Girl of the Month. I really cannot get enough of her or her pornos!!! I think I might be in love. Do you think Tia would marry me? :) Anyways, I can assure you that Ms. Ling will continue to get LOTS of love here!Bai Ling- Speaking of smoking hot Asians whose last name is Ling, the smoldering and sexy Bai Ling will be at Chiller this April/ May!!!! Dude and dudettes, when my friend Pat told me this news on my Facebook, I fucking flipped!!! Meeting her is gonna be epic!!! Honest, to God I been a fan of hers since I saw her play the bad chick in the classic action/ horror/ revenge flick The Crow. She is also gonna be in the new season of Celebrity Rehab. Since Amy Fisher will be on that, too, I'm gonna have to watch it. But, for now, I just want it to be Chiller time, so I can have the pleasure of meeting her!!!Candace Bailey- It's official, I'm greatly enjoying Ms. Bailey on Attack of the Show. Now, admit ably, I think Olivia Munn is more beautiful, but Candace is so damn cute! With Olivia gone seemingly from the geek world, I think Candace is the NEW geek goddess! To cement this she shot a Maxim layout not so long ago. Candace comes off so cute and sweet on TV, and she really tries to understand/ get into geek culture, so it is impossible not to love her. But, if you think that she is just cute, then you ain't seen her in her dom outfit. I mean DAMN!!!Sunny- Finally, last night on WWE Raw it was revealed that the gorgeous Sunny, aka Tammy Lynn Sytch, will be inducted into the 2011 WWE Hall of Fame! I gotta say her induction is the one I most excited about, at least so far. While, it can be argued that Medusa and/ or Miss Elizabeth should have been inducted first, there is no arguing the fact that DESERVES to be inducted! She was the first Diva, and even the most downloaded woman back, in the day.
Sunny worked in the WWF/E in the mid to late 90s. I twas during this time, while I was in college, that I had THE BIGGEST crush on her. I even had her Raw T-shirt and I currently own her Legends action figure (based on her Legion of Doom look). She then went on to work for WCW and ECW.
While, there were tough times for her, she looks stunning once again. And, when I met her last year at the Big Apple Con, she was a total sweetie. She told me she liked my spike bracelets. She even waved hi to me later in the day, when I was walking around with my friend Kristie. Sunny days are back! So, all hail the WWE's first, and of the greatest wrestling divas in ANY organization!! And, congrats to her for getting inducted. I will always love Sunny, and thus, so will my blog! :D
