Horror Toys of Neca- Toy Fair 2013

NECA always has one of the most awesome booths to visit. Especially if you, like me, are a huge horror fan. Here is some kick ass toys that will please all of the gore loving toy collectors out there:

These Predators are based on the old Kenner toys that had a bunch of colored Predators totally out of continuity. Cool idea if you think about it.

When you buy the Predators, they will/ are coming with skulls. All of which can be hung in this upcoming trophey room. It's a special treat for the long time collectors and based on the scene in Predator 2.

The Space Marines vs. Aliens 2 packs are coming soon, & they look badass!

 The Aliens all come with gory bullet-hits! Winning!

From the upcoming Carrie remake we are getting two toys of Carrie White. This one is the nice prom version.

 And, this one is her covered in pig's blood. Both look freaking great!

 

 Bobblehead based on the Alien from the first film.

 This bobblehead is based on a cool scene from Predator 2.

While, not horror, Robocop is a splatter film. And, Ed-209 rule s! As, does its toy!

Toy Fair 2011: The Final Chapter- The NECA Report

This is my final report on the 2011 Toy Fair for the Gorezone.net. And, I think I saved the best for last! It's all on NECA toys, and they had some of the best stuff at the show!

In Remembrance of Stan Winston

Stan Winston died on two days ago, on June 15, 2008. he was born on April 7, 1946 (age 62). he passed away of multiple myeloma (it is a type of cancer to plasma cells). An FX master, his passing away is truly sad one for fellow horror and sci-fi fans. The made some of the most memorable creatures to ever hit the big screen.

To me his best work can be seeing in films such as the Monster Squad , The Terminator films, Jurassic park , Predator 1 & 2 , most recently Iron Man , and countless others. Perhaps, his finest moment was the amazing Alien Queen from Aliens.

He also directed cult fav Pumpkinhead , as well as produced gore series Wrong Turn I & II . He, of course, did the FX for of these films, as well. He will be greatly missed by all lovers of monsters, the horrific, the fantastic, the amazing, the out of this world, and the gory. God bless him and may he RIP.
