News and Thoughts from the Master

Sometimes, there are various thing I want to talk about, but there it's either too many different subjects, or I don't want to dedicate a whole post on certain things. And, so we get these random posts!

First off, yours truly had his birthday on May 29th, but I didn't celebrate for real, till that Saturday, June 1. As has been the tradition for the last couple of years, I celebrated it at Duff's Brooklyn, THE greatest bar on God's green earth. I had a blast with some close friends of mine, and of course, the amazing crew at Duff's. I love this place! At the right, by the way, is the bar's owner, the always awesome Jimmy Duff!

In other news, I got the pro pass for this year's New York Comic Con! So, I shall be back giving you guys the type of coverage that you love to see here, from me and the Master's Minions! Expect LOTS of pics, my words, and hopefully more cool and fun interview, like last year when I interviewed Linda "Vampy Bit Me" Le

And, in the last bit of news about me, I recently joined Instagram. I had been very hesitant to join it. I, quite frankly didn't get it, but now that I'm on there, I'm really liking it! If you are on Instagram, and I'm sure many of you are, follow me. I keep adding some older pics, as well as new ones from my crazy and fun life. This is my profile: http://instagram.com/the_master_gio/

And, now on to my thoughts on some TV shows:
First off, a lot of shows had some amazing season finales!! Supernatural, Arrow, Bate's Motel, Grimm, and Orphan Black all had awesome ones!!

And, speaking of Orphan Black, I am so happy that they added a lesbian love story to it! Thanks to this my favorite clone on the show is now, Cosmia! While, I still love Sarah, the hot punk and lead character of the show, Cosmia just rules! Making out with hot French girls is highly approved by yours truly!

And, now even Syfy's Defiance is now in on the HLA (hot lesbian action)! They had two of the show's hottest hotties, played by Dexter's Jaime Murray and The Crow II's Mia Kirshner, hook up!! I've long liked both these babes, especially Mia! I hope things get hotter between them. I am EXTREMELY happy with the trend of more lesbian couples on TV. Please, please, please let this trend continue! It is the hottest trend in the fucking history of TV!!!

NYCC 2012- Celebs, Babes, & Hello Kitty!

As always, there were tons of celebs and hotties at NYCC. I've already posted my interviews with Vampy Bit Me, Adrianne Curry, and Tera Patrick and my coverage of The Collection panel, but those weren't the only ones I saw/ met those four days. Here are the rest:

On Thursday Alan (Negative Pop) and I finally met Chris Hardwick! Last year, we couldn't find him on any of the four days! This time we saw on the first! I think the fact that he had his own booth (Nerdist) made it much easier for us. We told him about it. He's a really cool guy in person! We're so happy to have caught him!

On Friday, I met Playboy Playmate Colleen Marie. She's all natural and very cool in person. She also beautiful! I'm not a fan of the typical Playmate, which is why liked this babe so much.
Also, on that day I met the beautiful Alexandra Daddario. She starred in the awesome Malevolence prequel, Bereavement, among other films. She was there to promote the upcoming Texas Chainsaw 3D (no the word "Massacre" is not in the title...) movie, which is said to be a sequel to the original and not the remake series. She signed for free including a nice poster from that upcoming flick (it'll be out in Jan). She was also very sweet and stunning in person!! I was very happy to have met her!

Here are some other stunning beauties:
One of the greatest booths in the history of booths!
This gorgeous babe is from the Iron Sky booth.
I declare my love to this babe! :P
She was there last year as well. Gorgeous!

True story: This was from Thurs, and the guy working the booth was pissed I took a pic with it, even though Kelly Kelly wasn't there and wouldn't be there till the next day! I ain't a fan of hers really had no desire to meet her. That said, she does look beautiful in person. But, this pic is hilarious. I doubt meeting her would have been as funny or as "law-breaking"!
Is it me, or this does this New-Gen babe look like porn star Alexis Ford's younger sister?

Finally, this might be the coolest/ most hilarious thing I saw all week. Sanrio and Capcom are collaborating on  some tees! I wish it was a game, but alas, whatcha gonna do? Regardless, Chun-Li Hello Kitty rules! And, I gave her a kiss!

All photography comes courtesy of Negative Pop and myself.

As always there was a ton of coplay all four days. The following pics are some of the very best I saw that day. They include the coolest, sexiest, most original, funny, and just plain awesome. Enjoy!

Hot vampire babes are always appreciated! Part of an Abraham Lincoln cosplay crew.
Roger Rabbit gets all the hot chicks!

Asian AJ!! Dear God!! Now I wish I was C.M. Punk (minus the whole straight-edge thing, of course!)
 Beautiful cosplay costumes!
Diva Deadpool was the coolest variation of the character at NYCC!
 Stunning!!!
This cute kitty had a live butterfly in her jar.
There were lots of Black Widows, but this babe was my personal favorite.

Magneto kicks Wolvie's ass, while Batman looks on and does nothing! That asshole! :P
Perhaps my fav pic my friend and photog, Negative Pop, took that wkend: the Ghostbusters and the Quick Bunny!!!

 Batman has never looked hotter!
Remember what I said about hot vampires, before? :)

 COOOOBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hot Asian Girl of the Month: Tera Patrick (Special NYCC 2012 Edition)

All pics courtesy of Negative Pop.

Last month at New York Comic, I got to interview the beautiful and legendary Tera Patrick. I have been a huge fan of hers since 2000. She is without a shadow of a doubt one of the biggest names in the entire history of the industry, as well one as one of the most beautiful women in the world.

So, being able to conduct this interview was a dream come true for me. It was also a true and complete pleasure. For, not only is she even more beautiful in person, but she's is truly awesome, as well as having a friendly demeanor,  and being gracious, intelligent, and having a very down-to-earth personality. She provided me with  great answers to all of my questions. In the end, I can honestly say that this is one of the biggest highlights of my journalistic career, thus far. Anyway, without any further adieu, here it is:

And, so it is with the biggest honor and pleasure, that I declare Tera Patrick my pick for Hot Asian of the Month for November 2012.

Oh yeah, one more thing, the fact that she wore a Ghost Rider tee, and looked damned good in it, just plain kicked ass!

A Talk with Adrianne Curry at NYCC 2012

All photos courtesy of Negative Pop, BAS Photography, and myself.
Video by Negative Pop.

This next interview was a blast to conduct! Adrianne Curry is quite simply put: funny, outspoken, geeky, sexy, and has an awesome attitude.

I actually saw her first on Friday. She was at the Beyond Comics booth and was very pleasant; as she laughed and posed for tons of pics for fans and media, alike.

Adrianne Curry and Gregg Weich
The next day, Saturday, was when I conducted this. Check it out as she talks working with Stan Lee, her involvement with Beyond Comics, cosplay, Star Wars, and more!
